Matrix (titanium):
This matrix with a width of 3.2 mm encloses the ball of the patrix. A horizontal slot offers activation. The cross-cutted retention is provided with a drill hole for inserting a pre-fabricated metal pin.
The matrix can be retained mechanically in the denture acrylic or pinned to the casting pattern.
 
Matrix (non-precious alloy):
Because of its horizontal slot this also 3.2 mm wide matrix can be activated, too. The retention part is aligned 10 degrees to the jaw and provided with a drill hole for pinning.
